About AYEM Works Studio

AYEM Works Studio is a small, independent studio based in Clear Spring, Maryland and run by maker Crysta Goff.

After many years of learning through nature, ceremony, and plant medicine, curiosity and experimentation eventually led to creating intentional skincare and scent.

Every product is made by hand using thoughtfully chosen ingredients and time-honored methods. The approach is simple: fewer ingredients, more purpose, and real care for real bodies.

Nothing here is rushed or mass produced. The work is slow, deliberate, and personal.

AYEM was created as a response to the overcomplication of modern beauty. Instead of endless steps and synthetic overload, this studio focuses on simple formulations rooted in nature and respect for the skin.

Beyond the products themselves, AYEM exists with a wider sense of responsibility. A portion of proceeds supports small, local acts of community care, extending the same intention outward that begins here.

This studio is an evolving practice. A living space for creation, curiosity, and connection.

Why AYEM

AYEM is rooted in the words “I Am.”

“I Am” is one of the simplest and most powerful expressions of existence. It is the moment awareness recognizes itself.

It is the quiet reminder that before labels, roles, or expectations, there is simply being.

AYEM reflects that idea. Care begins with the Self. With awareness. With returning to what is real and essential.

At AYEM Works Studio, that philosophy comes to life through small-batch botanical skincare and ritual goods designed to reconnect people with nature and themselves.

The name is also intentionally open. AYEM can be understood as an evolving acronym, shifting with seasons, intention, and personal meaning.
